After almost 30 years working as a government servant..my dad finally made it to the top… He is now one of the top ranking Malaysia Government Officers. Working as the KSU in Ministry of Home Affairs, he is now supervising the Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara, Jabatan Pendaftaran Pertubuhan Malaysia (JPPM), Ikatan Relawan Rakyat Malaysia (RELA) and Kawalan Filem.

Congratulation Dad… im Proud of u!!

KUALA LUMPUR: Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha I Kementerian Hal Ehwal Dalam Negeri (KHEDN), Datuk Raja Azahar Raja Abdul Manap (gambar) dilantik mulai hari ini sebagai Ketua Setiausaha kementerian itu menggantikan Tan Sri Aseh Che Mat yang bersara wajib pada 22 Oktober lalu.

Mengumumkan pelantikan itu menerusi kenyataan semalam, Ketua Setiausaha Negara, Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan, berkata beliau percaya pengalaman dan pengetahuan dalam pelbagai bidang membolehkan Raja Azahar, yang juga bekas Ketua Pengarah Imigresen, mengetuai kementerian itu dengan cekap dan penuh integriti.

Beliau berkata, Raja Azahar mampu meneruskan usaha KHEDN bagi merancang dan melaksanakan hal ehwal imigresen, pendaftaran, kewarganegaraan, pertubuhan, kawalan filem dan keselamatan, agar seiring perubahan teknologi, pertumbuhan sosioekonomi dan keperluan negara secara berterusan.

Raja Azahar, berkelulusan Ijazah Sarjana Pentadbiran Perniagaan (Ekonomi Perniagaan) dari Northwest Missouri State University, Amerika Syarikat, dan ijazah pertama dalam bidang ekonomi dari Universiti Malaya, dilantik ke dalam perkhidmatan Pegawai Tadbir dan Diplomatik pada 9 Oktober 1976.

Beliau pernah bertugas di Kementerian Perdagangan dan Perindustrian dari 1976 hingga 1980, selain pernah menjadi Pengarah Bahagian Pelesenan Perdagangan, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan

12 Nov it is.. cont

the celcom 3g speed certainly not really stable yet… based on the results i get from www.speedtest.net .

Various results it is… early in the morning i can get up to 250 kbps…. woke up around 6.30am retest and managed to get 360kbps… and now 9 am back to 150kbps…. but one thing for sure…. the speed has improved a bit not like during those time…but still i need to keep this in view for some time before 100% judge the service…. seems like celcom do keep their words but still there are some patch here n there on the connection based on the latency and timed out pings…..

Will keep you guys posted in this few days….

Nov 11, that is what they said and Rm48.23 for my coins savings!

Today, i got 2 stories and an announcement to make.

1st (annoucement) - Celcom Customer Service had called me again today to reconfirm the problem and gave me a timeframe till 11.59pm of 11 Nov for the problem to solved. So here they kinda giving confirmation that on 0000 hours of 12 Nov 2007 there will be no more problem and the line should be going back to its normal speed without high latency and timeout. So im waiting for this Monday to give it a try and if the problem still not solve i will straight away drive the the nearest Celcom Centre… make some havoc there and terminate my line. no more excuses and stuff.

Ever since i start posting about celcom 3g service which brings to the slogan "celcom 3g sux" / "celcom 3g sucks" i received tons of emails and a number of comments regarding telco services in Malaysia. Some even backlink my post on their blog.. Not to mention high traffic and a good PR return on my site. Thanks to all readers…. Hereby i would like to point several comments and one threat comment i received ever since i started the post regarding celcom 3g services

1st story for today

Since its friday, went to the mosque for friday prayer and right before our prayer session i notice the guy in frontof my saf wearing a t-shirt with a catchy stuff on it. I ignore the stuff first and go on with the prayer session but after the prayer. i spoke to that guy and asked him, where he get that t-shirt…its kinda cool…

he said "ouh ini baju fact aku"

me: "ouh, okay"

the words printed on the back side of the t-shirt sound like this….

My roomate and i counted or personal coin savings this morning before the friday prayer …. We were quite surprised when the total of our coins savings exceed the initial amount we expected. I managed to collect up to RM48.23 for all the coins i saved daily since the first day for this semester. and my roomate got a total of RM102.40 ( he got the higher number since he spend a lot on food and always bring the small change back) …. and what we did?… we went to our college mini mart and change it there since its almost the end of the semester….

moral of the story - do keep your small changes in one place and keep it stored with changes… one day you will be suprised on How much you have collected… My next target….1 year of small change savings…

Good or Bad?

I’ve been a little bit messed up this week, bad temper, bad examination, bad god knows what else.

Operating System paper was a disaster, i left out 2 questions out of 8 questions. i basicalyy dunno what should i write on the answer column. Usually i wont leave an empty space. but… i did….. Not to say when ppl around me says that they can do it..although not sure wwhether its right or wrong but still they answered…. well ..my next paper is Computer Science Theory which i dunno what the hell is all about… im just not into those stuff.. gonna start my intensive study tomoro…. i guess..

ehmm today the celcom representative again called me and asked me bout the current connection.. still the same..slow and stuff. that person..named Diana says that there are major problem as mentioned earlier by other technical person to me ew days back but this time.. she gave me time frame… she said..all problem will be solve by 11 November…. she said..you have my word… ok… i keep ur promise… as she promised send a technical staff to my place come n see me and narrow down the problem… im happy with such promised although im not sure whether they really meant it or not…lucky me i record the conversation …. (im always switch my phone recorder on when i saw celcom senter number on my mobile for incoming calls)…

well… guys…stay tuned… coz i warned that diana person just now and told her..i will never stop complaining until this matter is resolved and if the problem still there on 12 November… God knows what im going to do… the words i gave to here might be consider like a threat… but dude…its my right to voice my disappointment.

The current ‘Geek’ stuff i want to (fill in the blanks)……

Well said… i do really wish to own this stuff … but….. $$$$$ matters… i barely can buy myself a plate of decent lunch meal everyday.

15,000+ TV shows, 250+ Channels for FREE. No Hidden Shit … on Joost

I came across a website that offer free TV alike program to view with… at first i thought it was another malware like program to view the tv programs with crappy seed, crappy interface and crappy quality… but i was wrong… its a totally new revamped program tv alike software..high quality..more to HD type of programs… and good seeding streaming as well…

i dont get anything by promoting this program for u to download.. but seriously ..its nice..i even watch the “happy tree friends” program and guiness world book of record on it… not to mention some video clips from the celebrity that malaysian board wont allow it to be publish on local channel here. click here to go to the website.

Finally, a stable and good streamyx

i got this result after several test for several days on speedtest.net

There are tons of complaint regarding streamyx over the past few years, and to be honest.. i never complaint on the streamyx speed before…. it was awesome in my area, maybe because i stayed in TTDI or maybe after tons of complaint made by other users through out malaysia.

but i do want to complaint bout bad to worst service by celcom 3g services. the connection is not not only up and down… even when its up… its super slow…

well, i need to test the celcom 3g network in KL area… perhaps will post the result by tomoro.

anyway… ramadhan seems to going left us behind. cherish the holy month of ramadhan and selamat hari raya…
